พญ.พิมศิริ พูลสุวรรณ เป็นแพทย์ด้านโรคผิวหนังที่ปฏิบัติงานและมีบทบาทด้านการเรียนการสอนที่สถาบันโรคผิวหนัง กระทรวงสาธารณสุข มีพื้นฐานทางวิชาการด้านตจวิทยา และได้รับการฝึกอบรมต่อยอดในต่างประเทศด้าน Photobiology, Photomedicine และ Laser

คุณหมอสำเร็จการศึกษาแพทยศาสตรบัณฑิต เกียรตินิยมอันดับหนึ่ง จากคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ผ่านการฝึกอบรมแพทย์ประจำบ้านสาขาตจวิทยาที่สถาบันโรคผิวหนัง ก่อนศึกษาต่อยอดด้าน Photobiology ที่ St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital กรุงลอนดอน และ Clinical Fellowship in Photomedicine and Laser ที่ University of British Columbia, Vancouver ประเทศแคนาดา

แนวทางการดูแลผู้ป่วยให้ความสำคัญกับการวินิจฉัยโรคผิวหนังอย่างเป็นระบบตามหลักวิชาการ และการเลือกใช้ยา แสง เลเซอร์ และเทคโนโลยีที่เหมาะสมตามกลไกของโรคและข้อบ่งชี้ทางการแพทย์

สำหรับผู้ป่วยที่มีปัญหาผมร่วง ผมบาง และความผิดปกติของหนังศีรษะ พื้นฐานด้านตจวิทยาของ พญ.พิมศิริ ช่วยให้สามารถประเมินปัญหาในมุมของโรคผิวหนังได้อย่างเป็นระบบ โดยพิจารณาทั้งรูปแบบการหลุดร่วงของเส้นผม สภาพหนังศีรษะ การอักเสบ และโรคผิวหนังหรือโรคภูมิคุ้มกันที่อาจส่งผลต่อเส้นผมและรูขุมขน

ผลงานวิชาการปี 2025 ของคุณหมอยังมีความเชื่อมโยงกับ Hair & Scalp โดยเป็นผู้ร่วมรายงานผู้ป่วย Lupus Profundus ที่มี non-scarring alopecia บริเวณ frontal และ temporal scalp สะท้อนความสำคัญของการวินิจฉัยโรคผิวหนังและการอักเสบที่ซ่อนอยู่ในผู้ป่วยที่มาด้วยอาการผมร่วง
